Another classic holiday favorite! Such an easy casserole to throw together for even a weeknight meal! Be sure to check out my cream of mushroom soup recipe in the Salads / Soups section if you don't want to use canned soup!

Ingredients
4 C (1 ½ lbs) fresh green beans, trimmed
1 (10.5-oz) can cream of mushroom soup, OR 1 ½ C homemade cream of mushroom soup
¼ C onion, finely minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ C cheddar cheese, shredded
1 t salt
1 T worcestershire sauce
½ t freshly ground black pepper
½ t dried thyme
2 C french-fried onions
Preparation
In a medium-sized saucepan, bring green beans to a boil over medium-high heat in salted water and cook for approximately 8 minutes - then off the heat and drain the water.
Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9" x 13" casserole dish with butter.
In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled green beans, soup, salt, pepper, thyme, garlic, onion, and worcestershire and stir until well combined.
Pour mixture into prepared casserole dish. Add the cheddar cheese and finally the french-fried onions.
Bake uncovered for 35 minutes or until everything is nice and bubbly.
