Breakfast Casserole

This is a great make-ahead casserole the night before. Just cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake the next morning.

Ingredients
1 lb breakfast sausage
2 C shredded cheddar cheese
10 eggs
2 ¼ C milk
1 ½ t freshly ground black pepper
8 slices bread, cubed
1 t salt
½ t onion powder
1 t garlic powder
1 ½ t dry prepared mustard
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350° F and grease a 9" x 13" casserole dish with butter.
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
In a medium-sized skillet, brown breakfast sausage and drain excess fat.
Add cooked sausage, bread cubes, and cheese to egg mixture.
Pour entire mixture into prepare casserole dish and bake for 30 - 40 minutes or until center is set.
(NOTE: If made the night before and refrigerated, be sure to pull out and let casserole get to room temperature before baking - about 30 minutes time).
