Don't wait to bake these just on holidays! I have had good luck baking these in a glass casserole dish.

Ingredients
1 C water
2 T melted butter
½ C milk
2 T honey
1 T yeast
5 - 5 ⅔ C all-purpose flour
1 t salt
Extra melted butter (for brushing)
Preparation
Place water, melted butter, milk, and honey into a microwave safe glass measuring cup and microwave for 1 minute.
Pour into a large bowl and sprinkle the yeast on top. Give it a quick stir and then let it stand for 5 minutes.
Next, add flour, mix well until a dough forms, and turn out onto a floured work surface. Knead by hand for 5 - 7 minutes.
Place dough back into a bowl and cover with a damp kitchen towel and allow to rise for 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400°F and lightly butter a glass casserole dish (9" x 13").
Gently punch down the dough, and then form 22 - 24 balls from the dough and place them into the casserole dish. Allow to rise for an additional 20 minutes.
Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown. Brush tops of rolls with additional melted butter immediately after coming out of the oven.
