These are best when served warm immediately after cooking with a nice sweet & sour dipping sauce.

Ingredients
1 lb ground pork
3 ½ C grated cabbage
1 C grated carrot
½ C sliced green onions
2 t minced garlic
2 t minced ginger
1 ½ t each of salt & pepper
2 T soy sauce
2 t sesame oil
1 beaten egg
1 t vegetable oil
Vegetable oil for frying
16 egg roll wrappers
Preparation
Heat 1 t of vegetable oil into a pan, then add ground pork and cook until browned. Add salt and pepper, then add garlic and ginger and cook for an additional 1 minute. Add cabbage, carrot and green onions and cook for 4 minutes. Add sesame oil & soy sauce, stir to combine, and off the heat. Cool completely.
Spoon approximately 2 - 3 T of the pork mixture into each wrapper, using a little of the beaten egg to seal the end as you roll up.
Heat oil to 350°F and fry in batches of 4 for about 3 - 5 minutes until golden brown. Remove to drain on paper towels.
