Pimento Cheese

If you can't source pimientos, you can always substitute with a finely diced red bell pepper sauteed in a little olive oil until softened.

Ingredients


  • 4 C (16-oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1 (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened

  • ½ C mayonnaise

  • 1 (4-oz) jar of pimientos

  • 2 T grated onion

  • ¼ t onion powder

  • ¼ t salt

  • ¼ t freshly ground black pepper


Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients and serve with crackers or breads.
